On July 12, 2009, 6 Freshmen girls made a commitment before God to live pure and holy lives through a purity ceremony. The ceremony was the culmination of more than 6 months of Bible Study and discussion with their devotional teacher Anna Toh to learn about the high calling to be holy and pure in heart as God's children. During this time, the girls got honest with one another and with God, praying to offer God their whole hearts.
All the girls invited their families to come and witness the commitment they wanted to make before God. Each one chose their own key verse and shared a testimony based on their verse. After sharing their testimony, each one read a personal vow to God, and received a ring, put on their finger by their parents, through a ring ceremony. Each ring was engraved with their initials and their personal key verses.

In these times of moral pluralism it was absolutely beautiful to see these precious teenage girls make such a commitment to God. We pray that God may meet with them and help them to live a blessed of holiness. We also pray that these girls may be a light and example to many young women, that many other young girls would make such a commitment to God. To God be the glory!
