Prayer Topics for November 15, 2009


1. "You Alone are God" (2Ki 19:19)
Only Jesus can save us from sin and death and the devil. Let's remove the high places from our hearts and help us worship the Lord alone, the one true God, and his Son Jesus Christ. May God bless us and our nation with victory.

2. Fall Semester Ministry

A. 500 one-to-one Bible studies per week
* Raising of 20 new Bible teacher, 100 new one-to-one Bible studies.
* 1 Timothy study for new fellowship leaders.

B. Thanksgiving Worship Service: "May the Name of the Lord be Praised"
Next Sunday, November 22. Speaker: Dr. Alan Wolff. Passage: Job 1-2,42. Prepare praise and thanksgiving topics, as well as a thanksgiving offering.

C. Christmas Worship Service: "A Shepherd for my People"
December 13. Regina Dominican High School. Matthew 2:1-12. Many young people who need shepherds may receive Jesus as their Shepherd who came humbly into this world to serve and to give his life as a ransom for us. Worship Jesus wholeheartedly.
Messenger: Teddy Hembekides. Drama Script: Kevin Jesmer. Drama Director: David Hull. Chorus: Jim Rarick and Tim McEathron. Dancing: Whitney Koch. Offering to Uganda for the Bethesda Clinic: both world mission and relief. Dr. Joseph and Esther Chung will leave as silver missionaries December 1. We will have a silver missionary commisioning for them Sunday, November 29th at 5:00 p.m. at the Leningrad house.

3. USA Campus Pioneering

Senior Staff Thanksgiving Retreat, November 26-28.

4. UBF Worldwide
* Dr. John Jun. Mission journeys to serve seven Director's Conferences around the world, beginning in Korea on December 14.

* Missionaries in Muslim countries:
Middle East Christmas Conference November 27-28.
M.J.P. and C. P. in Turkey
M. and I. M. in Sudan
Tommy Pham in Indonesia

* Double in number by 2010; 100,000 missionaries to all nations by 2041.
