Baptism Recap – Part 1 (Video)

“For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.” – 1 Corinthians 12:13

On Easter Sunday, April 9th, 2 members of Chicago UBF were baptised, Javier A. and Ming Hoang N. They both shared before the church congregation a short life testimony, where they confessed their sins and were baptized. Thank God for the beautiful faith of our brothers Javier and Ming Hoang. May God bless and direct their new lives in Christ.

Earlier in this year 5 students were also baptized during our Sunday service. Thank God for the beautiful faith of these students who indivudually accepted Christ in their hearts. For this baptism each person was asked questions in relation to their faith. They took their turns standing forward before the church congragation acknowledgeing Christ and their sin and so confessing their faith. Pastor Mark then baptized each of them with water. Praise God for the new brothers and sisters in Christ, may they be blessed and continue to grow in their faith and understanding of the word of God.
