Mei Kim Went to Be With the Lord: Remebering A Women of Prayer (VIDEO)

Obituary

(Siow) Mei Quak (known in the church as Rebekah Mei Kim) went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 17, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Peter Kim her five children: Caleb (21), Esther (19), Jane (18), Luke (11), and Nathanael (8), her father Kok Heng Quak, and mother Soon Yok Poh, her younger sister Siow Chin Quak and two younger brothers, Wai Hong Quak and Wai Lim Quak.

Mei worked as a nurse in Chicago for nearly 20 years and has been an active member of Chicago UBF since 1995. She loved cooking and eating and found great joy in hosting church members. Her faith, love, and encouragement were a great blessing to many.
