Dr. John Armstrong visited Chicago UBF church in August (2019) and delivered a Sunday sermon on one of his favorite scriptures (John 13). It was a privilege to worship together and receive the word of God through his message; the church was very uplifted. Dr. Armstrong’s 10 year friendship and teachings at Wheaton college continue to be a great encouragement. Dr. Armstrong is a former pastor and professor, and he currently serves “The Initiative”, an intentional, missional and ecumenical community designed for assisting in the healing of the North American church.
