JESUS, THE RESURRECTION

Place: Camp Wonderland / April 12-14, 2019

After 2 weeks of sincere prayer meetings prior to the united Easter conference, over 150 people with many new students members from LUC, NEIU, OAKTON, HARPER, and Family Fellowship gathered together with the powerful opening message by Victor V. “I am the Resurrection and the Life” based on John 11. Kid’s skit prepared by Stacy H. was so wonderful that we felt the power of resurrection from the beginning!

Pastor Ron and Dervilla Ward came to bless our conference. We enjoyed the unity by the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ death and resurrection for all sinners! 2nd message was delivered by Rich R. “My God, my God why have You Forsaken Me?” (Mk 15). It touched our hearts as the curtain cut off in two through the death of Jesus, the Son of God!

After testimony writing and sharing, 3rd message was spoken by David S. entitled “He has Risen!” (Mk 16), and the 4th message on Sunday by Darren G. with the title, “Christ’s Resurrection” (2 Cor 4).

Stacy H. prepared a separate CBF program contributing a lot for the main programs too. There were also heart moving morning devotion messages by Elisa S. with the title, “Gethsemane Prayer” (Mk 14) and Jack M. with the title, “Fix on What is Unseen” (2 Cor 4) and also life testimonies by Anna M. who was 3rd gene from Portland and Stephanie, Nathan P, and Jason H.

We praise and thank God for enabling us to have such a wonderful united conference in order to renew our faith in Jesus, the resurrection.
