THANKSGIVING & PRAYER TOPICS

• ROMANS Bible study 2026-2028: 3/7: Romans 2:1-16, “Impartiality of God”, Romans intro & study questions at chicagoubf.org. Weekly in advance of Sunday passage online GBS with a pastor: Sat 4-5pm, see email or ask a pastor for link.

• Membership classes: 3/1, “Discipleship,” after 11am service, led by Elder Richard Choi, 7 candidates (Hanna Abera, Faith & Danny Miranda, Alysha Devitt, Patricia Gunawan, Gloria Lee, Helen Kim). Semi-Annual Members meeting: 4/12, after 11am worship. All Members. Lunch provided.

• Baptisms: 3/22: Aniyah Bonilla, Flavio Laguna. 4/19: Torin Lee. Summer: Moses Magardician. Contact a pastor if considering baptism, in order to prepare.

• Elections for Board of Elders: Elder nominations by TODAY!! Nomination Form to nominate up to 3 people (please speak with them first; read bylaws 6.5 and 6.7 at chicagoubf.org/about); Every candidate, including current elders must have at least 2 nominations; 5 yrs in Chic.UBF; no immediate family of paid staff). Don’t nominate these 3 elders who are not running again: Paul Koh, RIchard Choi, and Yvonne Lee. Pray for Elder Election Committee (David Won, Yvonne Lee, Helen Rarick, Hosea Lee, Leibins Rivas, Grace Ahn-Im & Joe Kim)
