On Saturday, April 18th, twenty women gathered at the Leningrad House for a special evening titled “Spring Bloom: For Such a Time as This.” Centered on Esther 1–9:19, with the key verse from Esther 4:14, the event invited women to reflect on God’s calling to live with courage and wisdom in their present time.
The program began with dinner and a time of praise and worship led by Deborah and the Northwestern fellowship, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere. This was followed by Bible reading, discussion, and journal writing guided by Deb, offering a space for women to personally engage with Esther’s story. Claudia delivered the main message, highlighting Esther’s courage and obedience, and encouraging each woman to recognize her own purpose in God’s plan. The evening also featured a meaningful poem by Bahati, adding a creative and reflective dimension to the gathering.
The event concluded with a flower crown-making activity and dessert, allowing the women to fellowship and celebrate together. Through the story of Esther, they were reminded that they are uniquely positioned for their time, called to live boldly and wisely. The gathering served as a powerful encouragement for women to embrace their identity and calling, truly living as those made “for such a time as this.”
