Semi-Annual Member's Meeting 2026

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, Chicago UBF held its Semi-Annual Members’ Meeting at 1 p.m. in the church sanctuary and via Zoom. Members were invited to share fellowship over lunch before gathering to hear ministry updates, review church matters, and pray together for the work of God.

The meeting began with a quorum count, hymn and prayer, a review of meeting minutes, and a welcome address. The first session focused on ministry updates, including campus ministry, world mission, church-wide updates, and prayer topics, followed by a time of prayer.

The second session featured reports from the Board of Elders covering church finances, member care, and pre-submitted questions from members.

The meeting also included seven small groups for prayer and discussion, focusing on World Mission, led by Elder Daniel Yoshiba; Campus Workers Cohort, led by Elder Joy King; Children’s Ministry, led by Elder Matt Misurac; Buildings, led by Elder Joe Grady; Finance, led by Elder Daniel Park; Prayer Group, led by Elder Yvonne Lee; and Member Care (Mental Health), led by Dr. Grace Ahn-Im.

The meeting provided an opportunity for members to stay informed about church ministries, participate in discussions, and unite in prayer for God’s continuing work in Chicago UBF.
