For The Mens Ministry :
Ashton Dsouza presented on “The Discipline of Prayer,” outlining five key elements of petitionary prayer. He explained that in-Spirited prayer relies on the Holy Spirit to guide prayers according to God’s will, while continual prayer cultivates an ongoing awareness of God in everyday life. Varied prayer reflects a dynamic relationship with God across changing needs, persistent prayer calls believers to press on in faith without giving up, and intercessory prayer emphasizes lifting others before God. He also highlighted the importance of discipline in prayer through practical steps such as maintaining a prayer list, setting aside intentional time, and approaching God with the right heart.
The second presentation was given by Luke Jordan on “ The Discipline of Worship.” He emphasized that true worship must remain God-centered rather than human-centered. Drawing from John 4:23, he noted that God seeks true worshippers and that Christ is present when believers gather in His name. He encouraged intentional preparation, active participation, and worship in both spirit and truth. Worship, he explained, is an act of service, calling believers to engage fully through prayer, singing, giving, and attentive listening. He concluded by encouraging consistency, reminding attendees that genuine closeness with God grows through faithful and disciplined worship.
Dinner was provided and good fellowship was shared.
