Called Again to Serve: Pastor Ron Ward Inaugurated for a Second Term as UBF General Director

Chicago UBF joyfully celebrated the inauguration of Pastor Ron Ward on August 15, marking a meaningful new chapter of pastoral leadership. Rich Rizewski presided over the ceremony, which opened with “To God Be the Glory” and prayer by Dr. Augustine Sohn. Chicago UBF seniors and leaders also presented “The Lord’s My Shepherd,” creating a warm and reflective atmosphere for the occasion.

Pastor Ron Ward then delivered his inaugural address, “Be Shepherds of God’s Flock,” based on 1 Peter 5:2, sharing his heart and direction for serving God’s people. A special time of prayer followed, led by David Kim, Dr. Joe Wert, Pastor Mark Vucekovich, and Dr. Abraham Kim. The celebration concluded with dinner and fellowship, as members and guests gave thanks to God and joined together in prayer for Pastor Ron’s ministry and the future of Chicago UBF.
